Cataclysm: Bright Nights is a roguelike set in a slightly futuristic world, where society has succumbed to a zombie epidemic. You are one of the few remaining survivors. Your goal in this game is not to save the world, because that is already impossible. The most you can hope for here is to find hot food and live another day.

Every game is a new world

As a good roguelike, every time you start a new game of Cataclysm: Bright Nights you will be able to generate a new procedural world. Within this world that you will create there are cities full of buildings and houses, rural areas, roads, factories, cars and, of course, many zombies. Each new game will be a new experience with the possibility of creating a completely new story. However, if you generate a world you like, you can revisit it with another character if yours dies.

Total freedom to do as you please

At Cataclysm: Bright Nights you can do whatever you want. Your only goal is to survive. With this in mind, you can play as you please: you can be a stealthy lone wolf sneaking into houses looking for cans of food, or a ruthless killer armed to the teeth who destroys all the zombies in his path. It's up to you. At your disposal you will have hundreds of objects to interact with, which will facilitate different types of gameplay. You will be able to throw Molotov cocktails at zombies, use lock picks on locked doors, hunt animals with precision rifles, drive vehicles at full speed on the highway, and much, much more.
